Do you have a gambling problem?

and / or

Do you have emotional problems from trauma (e.g., nightmares, flashbacks)?

Goal: The study focuses on problems related to trauma and/or gambling. “Trauma” refers to any serious physical incident that you experienced or witnessed (e.g., child abuse, domestic violence, combat, hurricane or tornado, severe accident). “Gambling” refers to any form of games for money (such as slots, poker, blackjack, roulette, lottery tickets, keno, sports betting, etc.).

Process: You can call for a telephone screening (5-10 minutes). You then may be invited tfor an in-person assessment scheduled at your convenience at our professional office in Toronto. The assessment consists of an interview and possibly surveys. Note: this study does not offer treatment of any kind, for any problem. However, all who contact us will be given resources for help with trauma and/or gambling, if desired.

Incentives: You can receive up to $70 for completing the project. We will explain it in detail if you call or email.
