If you can, please support this cause. My sister-in-law has a very severe case of Chron's disease. She had to give up school for a couple of years, died on the operating table when she was a teenager, and continuously ends up with blockages that require her to go to the emergency room - which usually leads to a stay in the hospital, surgery, and time in intensive care.

Thanks so much cath007. She's taking it in stride, and doesn't let it get her down. She decided not to let it hold her back, and often does public speaking, was part of their youth program when she was younger, and is part of the local chapter of the CCFC. I volunteered at an event in December and the people there all commented on how she was such an inspiration.

My hubby is a firefighter and works at it every year. Our teen son has volunteered for the past four years...this one is year five....
