i did try to bookmark a whole bunch of pages several months ago(around 300) and then opened them all in one go, but out of 300 only around 10 credited when opened, even though they were all pages which should increase points totals.

Save it in groups of 10 pages. When they all load at once, they will only count a few.

Sidetick has now terminated the "visit pages to earn sideticks" portion of the website, so you can only get the daily 1000 points, offerwall & referral earnings now.

They said they had no choice, as it was being abused.

My response;

Duh!

If your site has thousands of pages, and you can earn points by visiting those pages, of course its going to be abused.

I saw that too - so stupid and its all because members cheated. I think they should punish those who cheated not those loyal honest memebers.

I couldn't get my 1000 points yesterday, when the email opened it said it wasn't available in my area and it wouldn't give me the points

Getting your 1000 points has nothing to do with whether or not the message is "in your area", as i'm from the UK and the majority of the messages i get say that, but i still get my daily 1000 points.

What the issue is likely to be, and its happened to me, is that your message didn't fully post, because it didn't process properly.

In the reply box where you enter your message, after you hit "post comment", make sure that your message disappears from the "comment box" as well.

The reason i say that is because if you click "post comment" and your message appears as a reply to the topic, but your message is still in the "comment box" then its not fully processed the message, so you need to keep posting that reply until the comment box is empty.

Hmm, maybe, I don't really remember now. I've never had a page not load for me before, so I assumed that that was the issue.
