Saturday, May 5, 2012 is Free Comic Book Day!!

There are specific titles that are free (they usually say "FREE COMIC BOOK DAY" on the cover and are placed together in a specific area. Click on "The Comics" in the nav menu of the linked page to see what there is. Some shops limit how many you have (keep in mind, the shops pay for these!). There is also usually other freebies to be had, depending on the shop. It's a great way to get into comics and my kids always love it.What is Free Comic Book Day?
Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for their participation and rules.
