Woohoo!! Last night I won a set of BOSE ear buds, which apparently retail for $100+, for under $1 and I only had to bid 4 times. So shipping, bids, and cost of item was under $10.

Also had won (2) 25 Bid packages with game plays which earned me 84 more bids and they were also won for really cheap.

My last item won before going to bed was another $100 LA Senza Gift Card for $0.28!!!! That is really awesome because I won one last week so I now have $200 to spend next time I go out of town. (We don't have one here )

    I LOVE Quibids!!!!!

I almost forgot to say that my son tallied up the retail cost of all my wins and it was over $3000!!! I definitely did not spend near that much and that includes buying the bid packages and shipping!

Sounds great! What are some of your strategies? If you don't want to post, could you PM me? I am interested in starting Quibids.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

60 cents a bid. You buy bid packages and there is tax.

So if "Harbie" won a $25 SB CG for 62c & bids are 60 each...does that not come to $37.20 or am I missing something here...

I am watching an auction on a $100 Best Buy GC but everytime someone bids it keeps changing the time..so how do you know how long the auction is for...there does not seem to be a time frame

you have to be the last bidder when the time runs out. Everytime someone bids, the countdown resets to 10 or 15 or whatever it is for that auction.

When she said she won it for 62 cents, that was the final winning bid. She didn't say how many times she bid. It could have been 1, 5, or 10, etc.

You have to watch though cuz when people have their autobids on, it's stupid to bid as they're just going to bid right after you anyway so to waste 60 cents everytime is crazy! I usually don't waste my time bidding if there are 2 or more automatic bidders. It's just a waste. Yes, you could catch them at a time where they've used all their bids, but that doesn't happen often. You definitely have to study how the bids are going, etc.

I won 6 auctions today. Nothing too big, but I won 175 bids worth of auctions, a $10 GC with 20 bids.

when I win, I usually would've bid around 10 times at the most. That would cost $6 vs the $15 to buy it without bidding. Saved $9 PLUS they will count as voucher bids which can give you an edge in some auctions as it will allow you to use those if you need to for some reason bid more times than the item is worth. Sounds stupid, but it happens.

That's a REALLY good win. 20 bids would cost you $12 so you got $37 worth for cheap. Pretty awesome.

Voucher bids are just bid credits that you didn't actually purchase. You can bid with them, but they DON'T count towards your buy it now price if you lose. That's one downside, but hey...it's not like we paid for them, lol.

So glad to see you're having fun with it!

what I can't stand is the "auto bidding wars". Sometimes they get waaaaay outta hand! Especially when yu can see the past winning bid history and say it's average was $1.98 then this time the crazy bid up past $10 or something. I wish people would stop and look at the past bids and relax a bit
