Happy 2nd anniversary to me! 2 yrs with Smartcanucks! I don't know what I did before you!

So I have been doing recycle bins walks about 4 times a week for the past year (poor weather discluded!)

This week is paper an boy did I do well. I have done 2 so far with the rest tonight and tomorrow morning...

I ended up getting:

14 latest redplum with $2 europe fruit - trading
28 special k booklets (trading!, has HV coupons including granola, crisps, cereal and more)
1 Olymel coupon booklet - $5.50 in coupons - trading
4 stouffer pins (used)
5 SYB pins (have 2 left, trading for other fpcs or sdm)
5 cereal codes (traded)
7 dole coupon doorhangers - 75c extra veggie and $1.00 on bag salad (keeping)
4 $1.50 canada dry coupons (traded)
2 kelloggs 75c coupons (gone!)
2 cases of beer bottles and a large champagne bottle
1 aeroplan code (used)
2 oasis fpcs (trading for other fpcs or sdm)

Last week I got about 50 icoke pins and $10 in bottles too.

Happy Anniversay to you!!!!! And WOW, you did so fantastic!!! I was thinking of you last week while I was watching my local news. They had a piece on there about people going through the garbage and recycle bins of other people, and in Calgary apparently it is against the law. It doesn't matter whether the bins are sitting in the alley for garbage pick up, or the big bins for apartment buildings, it's illegal. Could you see it " Army_girl in court, faces charges of pilfering papers from recycle bins" Sometimes I think that the people who make these laws have nothing better to do with their time.
