Visiting Halifax - Need your recommendations, please!

Hi everyone,

I am visiting Halifax (I'm from BC) and find myself in need of a chiropractor.

Can anyone recommend a good chiropractic doctor in the city? (Also, if there's one I should stay away from, let me know). Preferably a chiropractor - or a clinic - that can also do x-rays as part of their initial assessment.

Dr. Ellen MacPhee at Ilsley Wellness Center in Burnside. I am blessed(so far) not to need one so not sure who to stay away from. Best of luck.

I used to go to BasinView Chiropractic, on the Bedford Highway. I went there for 2 years. Excellent service and treatment.

Don't know if you are interested but there is a great clinic in Kingsport, (1hr out of the city)
that have osteopaths, they are excellent for pain relief, you may want to look into it.
Sarah Hayes is the owner, and it is Kingsport Clinic. Hope this helps!!

Thanks again for your feedback! I ended up finding a fantastic chiropractor in Halifax, Dr. Kate MacAdam. I've seen her once and have another appointment with her this week, before I fly back to northern BC. I am so envious of the availability of so many highly qualified, specialized health professionals here (chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, TCM practitioners, etc) and wish I could take several of them back with me. Or that I could move back to Halifax...someday, maybe!

Highly recommend Dr. MacAdam - she works on Young Street and will soon be moving close to Quinpool Rd. Her website is below.
