I'm looking to start a thread that could eventually get stickied. As a mom I'm always trying to save money on diapers, without buying the really cheap diapers (not trying to offend, my daughter gets rashes really easily from the no name diapers). I find it so difficult to figure out how much I'm saving or not saving because of the varied sizes and diaper counts in the different boxes. I like to figure out my savings by the cost of a single diaper. Therefore, I need to divide the sale price by how many diapers are in a box. But the picture doesn't always show how many diapers are in each box so that's why I want to make a chart for the most popular diaper brands. I'll need all the mom's help to fill in the blanks and make any corrections if I'm wrong. Once we get a chart stickied, it will be so much easier to figure out if that "diaper sale" is actually any good.

I have a number of boxes and bags of diapers piled up...

    Cruisers Mega size 4 46
Baby Dry Mega size 4 52

Big box diapers (is that what they're called? I think they're the smallest box) Size 3 Baby Dry 96, Size 4 Baby Dry 82, Size 4 Cruisers 68

I also have a size 4 pack with 156, though I'm not sure what it's called.

Many of the package sizes and counts are available on Well.ca or Amazon or London Drugs.

I have been working on this for pampers cruisers and swaddlers. I started tracking sizes, qty per package and price for a couple of different stores. I can send you my spreadsheet if you are interested.

What I have found difficult is that Pampers changed their package quantities and there are old and new packages out there. Plus, it seems the stores all call them something different!

Perhaps we can figure out a table like the Toilet Paper Thread?? So for example:

$0.15-0.19 per diaper = really good sale
$0.20-0.29 per diaper = good sale

and etc. like that, I just made up those numbers....

This is the TP one: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/69184-o...5-24-a-canada/

    Its in the second post.
