I had a lady behind me one time who was super patient with my pile of coupons & a cashier who questioned everything. She was buying baby stuff so I thanked her for being so patient & gave her one of my $3 Johnsons coupons, she was very nice about it.
It definitely makes you feel good

I am so glad I came across this post. I thought people would think I was crazy because I spy strangers carts and put a big smile on their face giving away coupons, (especially the very elderly shopping alone).
After reading all the comments, it turns out there are many very generous SC members who believe in "paying it forward, Karma, what goes around comes around, do unto others" Anyway you say it, it sure feels right. Glad to be in such a community.

last year I was at Superstore & spotted a single mom with a young daughter, picking up and putting back bottles of bodywash, trying to find something affordable. I knew that Superstore was automatically 'matching' WM's price of $2.77 on the Olay & I had a few Save$9WUB3 coupons left.
I handed her one coupon with a bottle of Olay & said, "take 3 bottles of this plus the coupon to the cashier; you'll get them for free; trust me on this, and if they say no, just tell them to round the coupon down to $8.31," She looked at me, bewildered, but took the coupon, and put 3 bottles in the cart.
a few minutes later I went through the till with 3 bottles myself, and the youing cashier, said "Hey, another one of these coupons; what a great deal!" I replied, "I bet it was a lady with a little girl." "yup."
At which point I said, "hey, would you like 3 free bottles of bodywash too?"
She was quite excited & happy that a stranger would give her a coupon for a free deal. It made my day; helping others 'get a deal' is even more fun than getting the deal myself.

Love being able to do that! I've started ordering the coupons for formula, it's sooooo expensive.... I'll leave it on the shelf if I don't see anyone buying it.
I've been a lucky recipient on occasion too in the past.

You know what I've been doing, I have to park downtown close to where I work so that if the school calls, I can go and pick up my son at anytime. Well my work lets me leave pretty early in the day (I'm lucky), so when I leave I wait a bit and I give the next person that parks where I pulled out from my ticket so they don't have to pay parking. I also gave a fellow some coupons too and he was so greatful!!

Ever so kind! I am not sure who gets more pleasure the giver or the receiver.
I do that also, and people feel that they owe me something. ROAKS to strangers, I love it!
