Today at LD, the manager reminded the CS gal about the limit of 4 like coupons . Now they didn't quite know what that meant, but the gal still took 4 coupons with different expirery dates, and 4 with different upc codes. That was her understanding of the limit.

I was reading the coupons again, and this is how I intepret the "4 like coupons"

Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip: I take this as 4 similar coupons per shopping trip, not a limit of 4 for stacking. I'm thinking, its to prevent people from buying 30 tooth brushes at once when they are on sale for $1.00 and they have 30 $1.00 off coupons.

LD has always ignored the limit one coupon per purchase, or coupon can not be combined with other coupons, hence stacking. Therefore, I do not and hope the limit of 4 like coupons should apply to stacking. It will be a challenge for a while, until people have an understanding of what this means.

    What do you guys think?

I read it the same as you, that you can only use 4 of the exact same coupon per transaction. I have no problem with the restriction even though my LD doesn't seem to care about it at the moment. I did a trip on wed and one today instead of doing it all at once and being over the 4 limit.

I agree with you. It means 4 of that exact coupon to limit the amount of one item you can buy.

I don't think though that they "ignore" the limit one coupon per purchase though... they just interpret it to mean one coupon per purchase that is exactly the same as this one. Meaning you can use multiples of the exact same coupon with the same bar code on one item.

I am afraid for that to come here and policy started to change. So many coupon stackers here now and quite often the shelves are empty.

I think it depends on the location..........

I just started seeing the limit of 4 like coupons the other day when I was clipping.... dun remember ever seeing that in the past though........ hopefully more LD will ignore the headquarters........... or else it's giong to be tough especially when I use mostly printables......

I was using the buy 2 save $4 dollars, and buy 2 save $7 dollars and she let me use a combination of those 4 but not my fifth one and it wasn't even the same coupon. So I said fine void out two of my deodarants. But where it says 4 like coupons wouldn't they have been ok??? GAHH annoying cashiers. She did some other stuff to annoy me too. I think I will make up a brag post lol

somewhere on Smartcanucks there is an email that someone received from P&G where P&G said it refers to 4 'identical' P&G coupons, not any 4 P&G coupons.
