    4

    At LD I got:
Glad Bags - FPC = free
    4 x Colgate - 21.95 = 0.01
    2 x Covergirl - 16.00 = 0.78
    Dora the Explorer Spinbrush - 4.00 = 2.99

    At RCSS:
    6 x Secret - 11.00 = 1.00
    6 x Gillette - 10.00 = +1.00
Dr. Oetker Mousse - FPC = free

    Now the funny part:
Normally I am well prepared before I go stacking, and have paper clipped my stacks, checked prices online, made a list, etc, however this time I ran out the door with a toddler, my coupon binder, and a huge envie full of unsorted coupons. After hitting the timmies drive thru and sitting in their parking lot pulling coupons I thought would be useful, I hit LD knowing I could spend $21 on 2 covergirl, or $24 on 4 with what I had in hand. The complicating factor when I got to the makeup section was that they had 20% off all covergirl products,so I ended up blankly staring at the wall trying to calculate the best deal in my head. I must have been doing this for quite a while cause an employee came over and asked if I needed help. Its possible she was just trying to be helpful, but I suspect she either thought I was brain-dead or shoplifting!

ps - I am dissapointed with the olay sale price of 19.99 - should have made it 20.01 so we could use the coupons -- I asked CS if they could increase the price a few cents and it was a no-go!

I picked up some Covergirl too...............I love when LD does a 20% discount sale; the last one was Oct./Nov.

(I picked up a small calculator at the dollar store & keep it in my purse.)

My LD let me "price" match the 20% off covergirl from SDM (I was taking 20% off LD's prices), and I find shoppers does that sale a LOT more often than LD does, so ask and see if they'll let you do that! Never hurts to try.

I'm becoming a complete organizational loon about things, so I totally know what you mean about the paper clips and the detailed list. You do things EXACTLY the same way as I do

I might make a list of what 10, 20, 25, 30 % etc. is off 5, 10, 15, 20 dollars. It's a lot easier to do quick math without a calculator if you have a chart like that, and you could easily just stick it in your binder

Great brag! I did the same thing with the covergirl last night..funny how something like that can throw off a stacking plan!!
I am stocking up for 'goodie' items for DD's 10th B-day..but all I got was two lip glosses and used my $17 stk and got one $1 coupon back after the 20%..Our LD only allows two itmes at a time when stacking sooo I will be going back!

LOL the SAME thing happened to me while trying to stack for covergirl!! Complete with the CS coming over to ask if she could help with something.

I can do complicated stacks with no problem most of the time, but for whatever reason I CANNOT comprehend % off sales plus coupon stacks!

I carry a calculator and know how to use it now, haha.

I was able to use the olay coupons yesterday at my LD. I even asked the Cashier if i could - i am not sure she understood the part about the product being over $20 and only heard the part about buying 2 -so she took my coupons - and i got 2 products for the price of one!

Wow, you are only allowed two stacks at a time? Does this happen at many LDs?

Watch for the softlips to go on sale again (was at SDM last time) for $2 so you can use the printables - tweens love them
