can you use the coupon from CZ? I was told today at Maxi that you could only use it for the product in the picture. :S i will try going to loblaws as they have a better deal I just hope that I can use the coupon

No, not the picture -- it's the words that are important.
If you are having difficulty with the cashier, go higher to a manager.

For example, if the CZ coupons has a picture of shampoo, but the words say shampoo or conditioner, they have to honor the coupon for both, provided the product name and size are correct. The photo taker can't put everything in the picture.
