Thread: Where is your favourite place to buy second-hand items?

Hi there,
For those in Nova Scotia (specifically, in Halifax and surrounding area) where is your preferred place to buy, sell, give away, or find good quality gently-used items? (Clothes, furniture, books, etc)
Kijiji
Freecycle
Charities like the Salvation Army, church sales, etc
Second-hand store (if so, which ones?)
Yahoo Groups mailing list (if so, which ones?)
Facebook (if so, which Facebook groups?)
Other

I like kijiji, and I've been going onto a couple facebook online "yard sales" (porters lake & surrounding area mostly)

I get baby/toddler clothes and books at Guy's Frenchies.
For other specific items, I use kijiji

I loved Frenchies as a teen, but I was @ one on the weekend and there was nothing and everything felt so dirty...

Love Guy Frenchy's and I've been to most of them in NS, I think. I haven't been to the other just "Frenchy's." I'm also a long-time kijiji user. I've tried yard sales but I've never been able to be the early enough bird that gets the worm. LOL
