I went to Canadian Tire today to use my scratch card and my coupon on tide... Well, I bought 1 tide (the only on left on the shelf) and 2 comet at $1.00 each , the cashier scratch my card and I got a $5.00 redemption, I then handed her my coupon she said " you cannot use a coupon along with the scratch card which is a coupon, I told her its not a coupon, its an offer from your company.. I then pointer her to read the back of the card which states to cashier: Transactions must be $5.00 or more, process all other coupons with a 198 code number, enter discount code amount of $5.00, She still wasnt sure, so she went to the manager... Well, I was right and she was not informed.....
My DH was so proud of me he said, "they dont know that you read every fine print...
1 tide= $6.49
2X comet $1.00, total was $9.59, coupon from tide $2.00, $5.00 from scratch card, $.45 CT money, my total was $2.16

I had a cashier tell me today that I couldn't use my $5 off any Air Wick FreshMatic starter kit coupon because they were on sale for $6.49. The coupon says "not to be used with any other promotion or discount". I tried telling her that the rule didn't apply to sales and she didn't believe me. Sadly I didn't have time to argue and ask for a CSM.

Yes I am wondering about the M and M coupons too.. From what I understand you have to buy somethg scratch your card in front of cashier and they give you coupon for m and m meats. HOw did u get 23? Did you line up and buy stuff 23 times?? Please explain, so we know how this works for future uses thks

I believe those Canadian Tire cards say no purchase necessary.

In my building the card came in the flyer pkg in the mail ( CT, No frills & Rexall) on wednesday and its seems like most people throw them in the recycle bin, so my son and I took them out/
