If i were you I'd line them too, make them room darkening. We had a problem in the summers with our DS, the sun was up after bedtime and he didn't like going to bed while it was still sunny!
Room darkening curtains helped a lot.

I definitely plan to make them room darkening!
Well, I ordered the firetruck fabric last night from Etsy for Gabe's room...I guess I will order Ronin's gnomes today
I can get the plain blue broadcloth locally and save the shipping. I am so excited to get going on a new project!!!!

Yep, like the blue better with the gnomes. It should pop against the wall color too!

I like B & D - good for you for making these... the dark colours are a good idea, esp if your son might touch them... don't have to worry about them getting dirty!
