I have to say I am very pleased with some bathing suits I picked up from old navy. I'm tall, 6 feet and take an extra large. So finding a bathing suit is usually a battle.
I took a risk and ordered three suits from old navy. A one piece with tummy control, and two tankini's. I ordered all three, one size larger than I would wear. So an xxl instead of an xl.
I got them and they fit perfectly, they give the coverage I wanted, as there were a couple options for the bottoms and they fit, no midriff exposed and adjustable straps.
The quality seems to be a little better than Penningtons.
One piece suit was $14, and the tankini's with bottoms were under $30 each. So the price was right for me, compared to the $60-90 penningtons wanted.
I didn't like to look at the size, but they fitThis thread is currently associated with: Old Navy, PenningtonsTry out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

Sizes are so all over the board that I never worry anymore.
Good shopping

great find yoiu had at Old Navy...didnt realize they carried tall sizes. I have a long torso and had luck with suits from Land's End. Still had to exchange for a bigger size which is trouble with buying online but got one that fit nicely in the end.

I hate shopping for a bathing suit. I am long in the torso and find a bathing suit hard to fit. Nice to know that Old Navy has tall sizes. I always take a size larger than normal in a bathing suit.

The bathing suits were in whatever their regular length is but their cuts seem to be longer in the torso.
They do have tall sizes in some pants and some shirt sizes. I appreciate the tall sizes, the inseam is 36, and the shirts are inches longer then their regular fit.Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

Did they have anything with built-in-underwire???
I am definately not tall...but unfortunately god decided to bless me in another area....lol. (loved them when i was in my 20's but hate them now that I am in my 40's)
and I really need something that's going to give me some extra support in that area.

Have no idea, I'm only an 38E and they fit fine for me. I tend to go away from underwire as I find they dig in too much for me.
