HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - A deadly house fire cuts through the night sky and in the aftermath, a community mourns.
The tragic loss of a mother and her 3 children to fire in a West Hamilton neighbourhood has us all asking the same question: how can this be prevented from happening again?
This Friday morning, CHML answers that question, by distributing FREE smoke alarms compliments of RONA during a special FIRE SAFETY event live from our radio station at 875 Main Street West.
Members of the HAMILTON PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 288 join Bob & Shiona to hand out smoke alarms to families in homes or apartments that need a smoke alarm, as we raise awareness of fire safety. Join us on-site this Friday,(march 7th) pick up a free smoke alarm, and help us prevent further tragedies.

Ps...this doesnt state the hours that they are running this but it only said morning event...so if someone can find out more.??
