My poinsettia is still doing well - INSIDE of course. We have a very TINY garden now and it's COVERED in 2 ft. of snow. We weren't here in the early spring last year, but I planted daffodils last fall and I'm SO waiting to see them pop up this spring!
Not my yard, but a beautiful walk today. Looking like spring in bc :) http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...4a4c415406.jpg
Soon full trees of cherry blossoms!

I keep taking ice out of downspouts. Milder temperatures as of yesterday and into next week. Chance that I might spot emerging croci during March Break/St. Patrick's Day. Nothing yet.
I merrily knock off snow on things that can be free of of frost with Sunshine's warm rays.
Oh, I want to buy herb seeds and start them! Patience, patience...
I had a puddle end of our driveway today and my little car dropped into the whole of mushy water -not any more filled In it in with snow lol
Yesterday, I spotted at least two 1" high crocus stalks poking up under some oak leaves! On track for flowers next week?
I uncovered two flowerbeds to help the snow melt (last week's icy snow sure made a thick crust on top of the snow heaps) and raked out some leaves from the flowerbed along the house.
-I noticed 6 crocus little sprouts today -1 inch
It's melting as quickly as it can but we still have quite a bit of snow in the back, it'll be awhile til I see the snowdrops peeking up.
Hopefully MORE SNOW!! :)

underneath the snow was a pot that had pansies
peaking up from the snow is some new green leaves
guess it's Spring

the snow has finally melted enough so i can see the daffodils and snowdrops peeking up through the dirt :top:
One crocus dropped its protective leaves around its bloom, which looks like a paintbrush waiting to be applied to paper-this was yesterday. I did not check on the bloom and its buddy, which did not have a bulb visible. At least there's some sunshine so I expect it will offset the wind's icy breath.
I just ordered a crapload of heirloom seeds
