i'll have to check it out, i wasn't going to register anywhere for the new little one, but now i think i'll head over to toys r us..lol!

We did this last year with my daughter Emily on her due date. She ended up 10 days late.
They were pretty laid back with the whole registry. It was a great registry pack. Ours had the same stuff a playskool toy bottle, nursing pads and gerber coupons, etc. The 5$ off coupon we got did not have an expiry is it still the same? We just used it on her new big girl carseat.
Has anyone done the one at the bay? For weddings they had a completion program and toys r us doesn't and they did a goody bag for weddings ( makeovers and perfume coupons for the beauty counters).
Just wondering if next time I should try and do the multiple registration route.

i couldnt find it, i had my baby in january 08 and they gave me nothing when i registered after the birth of my baby, and i went there now and dont see anything about a gift, do you know where one would go ?

Is this just if you register in store. I registered online awhile back and never received anything.
I registered last aug 2007 for my daugher and they told me here in Newfoundland they don't give you free gifts - you just get your name entered in to draws - :(
I registered online about a month ago and never received anything...maybe they wait for the due date to pass?

I never did get one and my baby is now 8 months old.
The toys r us here in London, ON is great for this... they always give you a giant bag (reusable, cloth type bag) full of goodies. If they don't have any bags when you go to the store, call them at 1-800-ToysRUs and they will send you something in the mail. (Dunno if this works in all provinces or not)

I registered online and got the package when I went into the store. There were lots of samples and coupons in the package. It might depend on who you talk to in the store.

I registered online a little while ago and shortly after I received an email from Toys R Us with a $5 coupon (valid online only) and a note saying next time I was in the store to stop by and pick up my "goodie bag" which consisted of a diaper and a few samples of creams and a whole bunch of paper advertising.
mine came with a sample diaper, note pad, few coupons and info.
No bottle, no spoons..
May be you are in the states, as for me I got it in Canada.

I didn't know that there was a registry gift pack so I didn't get it nor did the store mentioned it. I'm gonna call the number and ask.
UPDATE: I spoke with a lady at customer service (she had quite an accent) and she said she was not aware or heard of this promotion. Is the promotion still good? I'm gonna do another try by going to a different local store and ask.
I got a pack but its available if u register in store. Its a nice pack sample of wipes, a notepad, nursing pads, and lots of sample of lotions and tons of coupons of huggies, playtex and from toysrus.:)

I got my free gift pack when I went to ask at the store. It didn't come with the bottle, but there was a sample of huggies wipes, huggies disposable washcloth, medela nursing pad, medela breastfeeding brochure, lansinoh, notepad, and playtex coupons.
