    Hi Everyone,

I thought this was a very interesting and insightful read. If you are having issues still with the tax man or feel you are being treated unfairly this is a good place to start.

It also gives you a list of rights as a tax payer. Also, what CRA must do for you as a tax payer.

    Enjoy!

I've gotten audited for the last three years. It is a "random selection" and each time they didn't find any issues or discrepancies. It's just a headache to go through and the CRA staff are very rude about it. Especially when I questioned the randomness, as it's been three years in a row.

I've been told that I am at an increased chance of this happening because I have 10 years of post secondary education/tax credits resulting from the schooling and because I work for a non-profit organization (lots of work for little pay) and that I have been using H&R Block it all increases my chances. Very frustrating.

I don't even make $24,000 a year :S. They have to make sure they try to get every penny. I wouldn't mind if they just weren't so rude about it. How about hiring some nice agents, especially when you find out that yes my taxes were correct.

Dislike greatly the random selection, how about looking into how the neighbour next door doesn't work, has about 5 kids and can afford to go on week long vacations to cuba.
