No words can express the pain and suffering that people go through in life whether it's emotional, mental or physical. This is a place for you to open your heart and share your feelings with us. We will comfort you and offer our prayers and thoughts.
Please post all prayer requests in this thread unless it's something that you would like to dedicate a special thread to.
Catching Rainbows
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea
But all these things, I'm finding,
Are impossible for me
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
But let me be what I know best
A friend that's always there

I thought SC might be the blog for me when I first came across it. Now you've just gone and proven me right. What kind, caring people you are! I think only Canadians could create and nurture such a site, without it being totally mushy and fake. And it makes me SO proud to be a Canadian. Bless all of you who think about and care about others. The rest of the world is just that much richer for it!

That is a beautiful prayer.Everyone can use some comforting and prayers. Such a wonderful idea.
Could I start out this thread by asking for prayers for my family. Let me explain about my children:
My oldest son (age 40) had a had heart attack in Feb. 2007. He actually died three times and they revived him. He had a triple bi-pass.
My oldest girl (age 38) has copd, ulcerative colitis, breathing problems and has now been getting blood clots in her legs.
My youngest girl (age 30) was diagnosed with MS just two days before her brother had a heart attack
My middle daughter (age 36) is doing o.k. She has problems with her thyroid; but is doing good.
My youngest son (age 34) just had to have a cyst that grew to about the size of a quarter over night from the back of his neck. I have to pack it every day for two weeks. It's healing nicely though.
Thanks you everyone. I have been fighting with high b/p for months now. They are trying to find the right combination of meds to keep it down.

I'm so sorry to hear all of that Mistress. I hope you are holding up o.k. My prayers are definitely with you and your family. Don't you sometimes feel like asking "Why my family". But, I know there are so many people with problems much worse than my families. I don't generally say anything; but, when I saw Boos thread I felt like I should ask for some extra prayers.
Thank you and everyone else for your kind words; and, thank you Boo for this wonderful thread.
