We tried to take ours to H&R block yesterday and it was a 7-8 hr wait. I'm thinking it may be easier to do it myself.

I took advantage of yesterday's 'nice' weather to get it done.... 4 returns in 5 hrs. Oddly enough, I actually enjoy doing them. Going to wait until the last week of April to file them though.

Have to write a check to Ottawa....

Also some companies that issue T3's (namely investment trusts) seem to file amendments, which would usually mean having to correct the return if it's already been filed.

Hmm. I still need to gather a couple of things; am missing a slip somehow.

Admittedly, I've never done my taxes myself; I always gather everything up and Dad's accountant does my taxes also. I spent the afternoon gathering everything to send to them. And I made up a spreadsheet of income and work-related expenses and stuff.

I've always done my own -- but I rarely do them right.. My calculations always seem to be slightly off from RC.
