I am currently waiting for a formal reply from Loblaw corporate. I live in PEI and went to the local Superstore ( which DOES have a price match policy printed right on the flyer EVERY week). I was simply asking if they were considering NoFrills a competitor for the sake of price matching or not. I was fairly shocked when I was told they only price match the front of other flyers and that they only price match if it's a $1.00 difference or more? BY THE WAY....NOTHING TO THAT EFFECT IS ANYWHERE IN THE PRICE MATCH POLICY. I showed the cashiers the policy printed in the flyer...they had never seen it or read it. I finally talked to the manager a few days later...thinking perhaps he had gone 'rogue' with this policy and he said it was received from corporate??? Where is that published? Not in the flyer. There is nothing in the price match policy that could remotely point to only front page matching. That's called FRAUD. I have no idea why people accept this as I started checking forums people kept saying..well Superstore only price matches the front page of competitors flyers. Ummm.....it's illegal to print in your weekly flyer that you price match...just like NoFrill or Walmart...same policy...but when a customer tries to do it you say it's only the front page? That's FRAUD and at the very least bait and switch. Shame on you Loblaws and shame on consumers for accepting this policy that is not printed or stated or supported anywhere, in any flyer or on any website owned by this company. Will update as I hear back from Loblaws in regard to the email I sent on May 25, 2012.

Thanks I would be interested to hear if anything comes of this. I found this out a few weeks ago when I tried to PM the cream cheese at Walmart to Atlantic Superstore so I could use the Kraft coupon.
They wouldn't price match.Last edited by nicolthepickle; Thu, Jun 7th, 2012 at 07:01 PM.
It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
