Hi Everyone,
I am about 6 months postpartum and need help with my workout routine. I do HIIT every other day, but I am lost when it comes to a weight workout routine. I have a gym membership, so I have access to free weights as well as weight machines, but I just don't know what I should do, how many reps and sets.
A weight workout routine has always been a stumbling block for me, I even had a personal trainer, took a boot camp course (before my pregnancy), to see if any of those would help me to figure out what to do in the gym. I have looked at bodybuilding.com, read Rules to Weight Lifting for Women, and tried to find other routines online, but still am at a loss for what to do.
If any one has a weight lifting routine I would like to know what it is, or if there are any websites or blogs that I can read, please post them here.

I'm kind of surprised about the trainer not helping you too. Is it just that there are too many exercises and you're feeling overwhelmed? Does the gym have someone that can help you? When I did weights years ago, someone from the gym just went over everything a couple of times with me to make sure my form was good. Then they wrote out a routine for me. I just did the same one every time. When it got easier, I either increased the reps or the weight.

http://www.self.com/fitness/workouts...il0620#slide=7 This is a great site for at home routines on your gyms days off. For the routine, I would go see the trainer, they should give you a free plan when you register!

I think my issue is that since I am by myself I don't push myself? I started P90x so will see how that works out.
Thanks for the replies.
