What do you give a Viking for Valentine’s Day; I thought I’d best ask Thor,
He replied with a rumble & with the loudest Viking roar,
He said “be careful what offer” & be careful what you imply,
Cause once Vikings get on a roll, you’ll hear that thunderous cry,
You could give him a cuddle or give him a pinch,
I once knew a Viking who didn’t even flinch!
You can give him the gears, but he’ll just give them back,
Vikings do hold their ground & they don’t mind flack,
You can bake him a cake or make him a steak,
You can give him a break or give him a shake,
You can toss him in the lake to make sure he’s awake,
You just need to ignore onlookers, who are doing a double take,
Maybe take your Viking for a jaunt up the hill,
& watch him roll down simply just for the thrill,
You could take him to the movies or perhaps the zoo,
Or even have a lower key Viking ballyhoo,
A membership in the cat lovers society would be a sure bet,
Cause Vikings love cats, so please do not forget,
Remind your Viking friend not to tarnish his horns,
Our he’ll be banished to the handbasket & all of its thorns!
