Hubby and I are going to Niagara Falls this weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and my 28th birthday. .. We are planning on going across the border to see if we can score some deals. Where are the best places to go? we are USA shopping virgins LOL

When I go to the US, I always go to the following and only the following:
1) Fashion Outlet Mall - Niagara Falls, NY (1900 Military Rd)
2) Walden Galleria - Cheektowaga, NY (1 Walden Galleria Drive)
3) Across the highway (other side of the ramps) - Target
There are some other places like Dollar Tree, Burlington Coat Factory, etc. in the vicinity but I personally find it more a hassle to go to these places since there are already so many stores in the above places.
Spending Limits:
After 24hrs - $200
After 48hrs - $800
I used to go just for the day but then I realized that I was paying more in taxes/duty than a motel room for the night in Buffalo!! There are some nice places to stay (like the Millenium hotel right beside Walden with the pool and skylight) but if you just want a place to sleep - you can get a decent motel for $40 that comes with breakfast (although just donuts, cereal, coffee). Buffalo Airport area has lots of cheap motels and the area is not as sketchy since it's just lots of overnighters.
I usually like to go to the Fashion Outlets FIRST since that's closest to Queenston/Lewiston and I tend to spend more money there since that's where all the deals are. Then I go to Walden/Target for my "to buy" list - things like high end makeup, a specific medicine, and items from brands we have here but are cheaper there.
At Fashion Outlets, you can buy a booklet of coupons for I believe $5 (free with CAA I believe) that gives you some discounts. They're not that good (extra 10-25%) but if you know you're buying a larger item in one of the stores, may be worth it to purchase first.
I go very often so if you have any other questions, let me know! Have fun and congrats on your anniversary!
TIP: If you're planning to buy Coach, I recommend going to the Niagara Falls, CANADA one instead on your way back. The selection and price is now on par (IMO) with the Buffalo one, unlike before. And then you're not using up your $200 or $800 US dollar limit.
