Thread: Hurt my leg while celebrating :( Darn IT!

This is some what of a rant (because of the pain I am in) But also a laugh!
Well as some of you may know, Italy won against England in regards to advancing in Euro. Well my DH is Italian and we were watching the game together. Well when Italy won we both were excitied and started to jump up and down and well I must have jump, turned, or did the moon walk the wrong way with my leg because right now I feel like I need to crawl to get anywhere lol. Leg hurts so bad right now I just want to cut it off lol.
Portugal plays Wed. and Italy plays Thurs. so my leg needs to be in well working order (As I want them both to win lol) and plan on dancing if they do lol.
But this could also work in my favour. LOL I guess I can complain I can not clean due to my leg and have DH do all the cleaning lol. OHHH the freedom I can have lol.
Moral of the story, celebrate responsibly, only you can prevent soccer celebration injuries lol.

LOL on celebrating responsibly!
Aw, but sorry you got hurt - I, too, know what it's like to get a knee/leg injury from just a simple turn of the leg -
If it's swollen, ice it and elevate it. If you think it's more of a muscular problem, have your sweetie give you a nice massage!
Hope you are better soon!
We're on team Italy here, too!

moonwalk...you still do that???? No, just kidding, so sorry that you hurt your leg and knee. It can be a bit of a bugger because you can't just sit with it up, unfortunately you have to put weight on it. If ice doesn't help, try the bath with some epson salts, it helps me. Glad your team won, next time just wave a

rotten luck. I have twisted more than my fair share of ankles as well. Here is hoping you recover quick! I also felt a tiny bit of Italian pride at the win ( 1/2 Italian, lol)

That indeed was a great game, I'm also cheering for Italy. We are huge soccer fans, it can get so intense sometimes.
Hopefully you heal for Thursday's game.
