Paterno 'unaware of molestations'

The US football coach convicted of molesting young boys over more than a decade has said he doubts his legendary boss knew of his actions.
But in a new interview, Jerry Sandusky of Pennsylvania State University, left open the possibility that coach Joe Paterno may have harboured suspicions.
One of the most successful coaches in US college football history, Paterno died last year.
Sandusky, 69, is currently serving 30 to 60 years in solitary confinement.
Sandusky, who was an assistant coach to Paterno co-ordinating the team's defence, spoke with filmmaker John Ziegler, in interviews partly aired on NBC's Today programme on Monday.
He said Paterno never would have let him coach if he knew he was a paedophile.

Jerry Sandusky’s son charged with sexual abuse involving children

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – One of Jerry Sandusky‘s adult sons faces multiple charges of sexual offences involving children, more than five years after the former Penn State assistant coach was himself first arrested.


Court records filed Monday say 41-year-old Jeffrey S. Sandusky was charged with 14 counts, including criminal solicitation and corruption of minors.
