This is probably one of the dumbest question...the 2.99/lb for the Angus grilling Top sirloin steak...is that a good cut steak steak? I'm still learning my meat. 2.99/lb sound like a great deal.

I will find out I suppose, I went and spent $25.38 OOP, ( after I brought the original total of $65.38 down by using 2 x $20.00 AM gift certificates ) and using $10.00 in coupons as well.
My receipt showed 60 bonus AM and 3 regular...CS gal says they will double on my AM statement/account in a few weeks.
I did the 6 boxes of cereal, 20 cans of MM frozen juices ( get 2 AM wyb 4 ) and used the get 10 AM wys $40.00 internet coupon, so I don't know at this point which AM will get doubled??

Top sirloin may not be juicy like a prime rib cut but it is among the leanest and healthiest. Not a bad price in my opinion (on sale T-Bones & Prime Rib are $5.99++/lb!!) Choose a thicker steak if you can (about an inch thick as thinner steaks dry out quicker). I also find that marinades help this type of steak, this a choice of preference. You could choose bought marinades or do your own i.e. balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper. It is best to let this meat rest at room temp. for approx 20 mins before cooking. You can grill or pan fry (sear on med-high heat both sides) and then let cook to your required taste (i.e rare, med. ,well). If grilling best to cook to med-well and then let your meat rest a few minutes before serving for the greatest flavour. Yummo!!
