I was stunned that on the day I gotta drive early to the Union Office and then to physio this snow falls! At least I am on vacation, so that helps some. I made it to both places and back, now in my pj's , not going out again, lol

Thank you Eva-M..hoping your Xmas celebrations were terrific. We are watching the white stuff fall outside, and I am guessing THIS is the beginning of the end for us now, our winter has finally arrived! ugh!! lol

aw your poor Mom! twelve weeks does seem too harsh. I was lol at all the flack us CP workers were taking ( and still tolerate) but if it wasn't for us, ( my union) the rest of the public sector would have NO maternity leave at all! We went on strike for it and once we won that right, the gov't gave it to everyone else. lol! I had no idea the US has only 3 months. Have your babies in Canada ladies! heehee

nope, not vacation...I wish! It was 2 weeks of terrible back pain ( out of freaking nowhere too) and the last week or so getting much much better. So back in the saddle I go! lol.
Oh I am sooo envious of you younger gals getting a whole year off
( I got 17 weeks off with each of my 3 kids AND I had to deliver mail right up until the last possible day to have the most time off with the baby, whereas now they give the women desk jobs near the end of pregnancy )

that is the whole dilemma with A/C It can actually be set too cold, we sometimes have it on at home and then when the weather cools outside we are unaware! Wasting energy again! lol I head back to work tomorrow! ( excited! because it has been over 3 weeks) I need my routine and my exercise. lol
