I have an FPC for Glade expressions and a BOGO coupon. Can I use them both at Metro to get 2 for free?

This is a store to store, or manager to manager decision because this is like "a use in combination of 2 differents offers" so similar to stacking...
Better to do like Georgia before doing it or if you give a try (because the store is so big that they could prove that have sell enought for all the coupon thay request money back) don't be frustrated if cashier denied this coupon use and look at you weird each time after if you fight and argue with her/him that you could.
I use coupon, yes, but I don't fight and argue for them.Liberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start

This is a combination that I personally don't try, since it "feels" too much like stacking, I'd never be able to argue my point with the cashier because I'm not 100% convinced it's right, so I just don't do it. I like to feel comfortable with what I'm doing. Honestly, I almost never have issues with using coupons where I shop, so I won't "rock the boat" too much.
You have more guts that me guys, and that's good! Sometimes I wish I had more (and surprinsingly, at work I'm totally the opposite: very assertive & directive)Last edited by rewok; Sun, Jul 1st, 2012 at 08:30 AM.

Logically, there is no problem if you approach thing like that, I know! I just can envision myself going beet red if the cashier question the coupons, and myself not even being able to express the reasoning correctly because I'm uncomfortable (I'm quite shy IRL). Like I said, more power to you, you get the savings!

Wow, after reading this post, I feel like I should go and give this a try! Lol. I have done BOGO and $1 before...but BOGO and FPC sounds exciting! As mentioned, I wouldn't argue with the cashier/manager, but hey I've got nothing to lose. Thanks for the info guys!

In this thorny case, I prefer to refer to the fine print in the coupons. In both of them, it reads "Coupons/Offer not valid in conjuction with other offers, promotions or discounts." In my opinion, the two can't be combined, first, because of the restriction printed and, second, because technically you are not buying anything.
Now, as ontest mentioned, accepting or not this combination may vary depending on stores and managers. Personally, I wouldn't go for it.
My two cents.

Yep Dadsaver,
This is a line where I have difficulties too.
I don't bother to combine a flyer's deal with a coupon use because the flyer's deal could come from the store chain or from manufacturer through that store chain, but I have no way to know it at the customer end. This is why I have no problem to combine manufacturer coupon with flyer's bogo offer. But I'm not able to combine 2 coupons in conjonction if this is wrote in fine print "Coupons/Offer not valid in conjuction with other offers, promotions or discounts"Liberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start
