I think the reason you were reading it the way you were is because you saw "jammerS" as plural, meaning each box would only be a "Jammer". The name of the product is "JammerS" so it would only be good on one item.

Great brag though! I could sure go for one of those caramel snack cakes, yum!

Any way - one box or three you got a great deal. I understand why some people don't coupon - it can be confusing. Nothing is cut and dry.

I'm just glad you got some Kleenex, My DD had surgery so I couldn't go on Sunday, went to our SDM on Monday and it was closed for Family Day, WTH Not that I begrudge people having the holiday off but don't advertise a sun/mon special and close on Monday.

I would have interpreted that the same way as the OP. I used 2 Colgate $5 coupons the same way at SDM on Sunday and got 4 boxes of Irish Spring soap at the 99c sale price and I got 5 boxes on each coupon. I've done that with other HV coupons too. I guess it depends on the cashier!

The store won't get reimbursed the full $4.99, unless there isn't a spot for the cashier to write in the purchase price. Hypothetically, if the coupon stated "up to $1 million on ANY Koolaid Jammers", would you redeem for $1 million worth of product and would Kraft reimburse the store for the said amount? Of course not.

As others have mentioned, FPCs are for ONE product, regardless of the maximum purchase price. The exception are the $5 Chapmans coupons, which state "Good on $5 worth of Chapmans products".

I'm pretty sure they will get the full $4.99 back as there wasn't a spot to write on the coupon - thanks for your snarky comment about getting a million $$$ worth of product

No I didn't sneak those in. I had brought the jammers down to the room in the basement that I store everything in and realized it as I was getting ready to take the photo and my DD went down and brought up the del monte instead of the jammers - guess I didn't notice it when I was taking the picture.

I've never had one of these 5$ Colgate coupons, but I believe those ARE good on 5$ worth of Colgate products. Not one product. Like the Chapman's.

It wasn't meant to be snarky, just an exaggerated example to make a point.

Since there was no spot to right the price, you're right, the store will most likely get the $4.99 back. As a consumer, I can see your point wanting to get your full coupon's worth. Still, I can't disagree with any cashier who wouldn't accept it on multiple products.

I wish the $5 Colgate had the same wording as the $5 Chapmans, but it doesn't.

Oh my! That is the same coupon I used! The cashier read it and gave me the 5 packs of soap for each one....oops! I think that so many of these coupons are just up in the air as far as who reads them and if they even care what they read!
