Had a huge eye roll moment today. The new macs milk carries olymel bacon and hotdogs. They had a decent deal, buy two and pay five bucks. Naturally I brought my olymel coupons to the cash. They refused them, ok fine. BUT there are coupons on the hotdogs too. And the cashier was like ya it's a bonus for next time.... Really? I explained that peel coupons are supposed to work at the cash and it's good marketing for this time. She disagreed saying, don't worry, you can take the (.50 cent) coupons to the no frills about 20 min away and buy more. Whoa.... If that was your good deed for the day then we are all screwed.

wtf they should take coupons! If you have a free pop from the pop lid (not that I've seen one of these for at least 5 years) they'd take it
I am currently looking for coupons for non parishable foods or grocery coupons good until December to help with Christmas food helpers.
If you have any to trade please PM me.

I agree, that is a little ridiculous! They must be to lazy to mail in their coupons for their rebates.

I always laugh when an employee encourages you to shop at a different store!! "okay I will make sure to post it on facebook that you dont want or need our business!"

they are not a grocery store and they don't have a contractual agreement set up with manufacturer's to accept coupons.
(not a question of being lazy at all)
it wouldn't be worth the time, effort, and paperwork to set up a coupon agreement,
for the few coupons that may appear once in a blue moon.

Ya, I understand that macs doesn't need to accept them but it just seems silly to have coupons in your store when they can't be accepted. Almost as bad as grocery stores that leave expired coupons on the shelf. Just annoying, that's all my rant was for.
