I went to Atlantic Superstore today and came out with a total of $0.00!! This was the first time I ever spent $0 oop!

2 boxes of Chapman's ice cream- 2 for $5 (used $5 coupon + no tax on groceries)
3 bottles of Glade Expressions Starter Kits- $4.99 each (used FPC + tax was included in the coupon)
    TOTAL: $0.00

Beware of the store's coupon policy regarding FPC! Walmart charged me tax, but Superstore didn't

It's not up to the store's policy - it a) depends on the wording of the coupon and b) if you read some of the documents on the Canada Revenue Agency about FPC - they're supposed to charge you tax on the AFTER coupon price (aka tax on 0$).

Good luck convincing most stores that though - even ones like GT who have it in their policy will argue that you're wrong and that you have to pay tax. Oh boy...the arguments we have with cashiers over these things...*sigh*

Most cashiers in my experiance will not read the entire coupon...they will just see if the product and size match....I thing I will use my highliner to that sentence again for the taxes.......... and the words are so small they dont regardless to read it....

She actually wasn't very excited and didn't say much! However, she had to call over another cashier to help with the coupons (regarding the FPC and tax).
