Being a Mommy x 2, I am VERY well aware of how expensive diapers are & how they can eat into a budget very, very quickly especially with smaller babies since they do their deeds A LOT more often in a day

I also know from experience (both on the giving & receiving end @ a food bank) that our local food banks rarely get diapers donated to give out to those who are picking up hampers & when they do give them out, a recipient is lucky to get 8-10 diapers.......which most Mom's know doesn't go too far!!

So I've decided that I will make an effort to donate as many packages of diapers that I can stack for every month this year in hopes that it will help out (this will be in additon to the regular montly donations of food/sundry items ) I'm also giving away a few of these packages to people I know personally who are experiencing hard times right now, are expecting babies very soon & some still have a little one in diapers


I've been doing A LOT of trades recently for diaper coupons and along with the fantastic boarding passes from the 1st VWT & RAOK's from some super kind & generous SC'ers, this is what February's donation/giveaway stockpile looks like!!!! I'm ecstatic!!!!


I chose not to PM any of the packages this month as it becomes a bit of a PITA for the CS girls at London Drugs & they're always so great to me & didn't want to cause any further headaches!

I purchased all of the Huggies products on Friday and all of the Pampers products today

6 x Pampers Refill Pks @ $9.99 = $59.94 - $60.00 coupons
6 x Pampers Wipes Tubs @ $4.99 = $29.94 - $30.00 coupons
26 x Huggies Diapers (1pkg missing from pic) @ 2/$26.99 = $350.87 - $351.00 coupons
5 x Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers @ $12.99 = $64.95 - $65.00 coupons
4 x Huggies Wipes Tubs @ $4.49 = $17.96 - $18.00 coupons
3 x Huggies Travel Wipes @ $3.49 = $10.47 - $11.00 coupons


Total Before Coupons + GST = $730.87
Minus Coupons Used - $697.00

Grand Total OOP = $33.87
Total Before Coupons + GST ($27.37) = $574.85
Minus Coupons Used = $552.00

Grand Total OOP = $22.85

Huggies are definitely trickier because there's normally not a whole lot of coupons readily available however I lucked out this month and used a bunch of the SmartSource flyer coupons ($2.00 & $1.50) and combined them with a large variety of different manufacturer mailer coupons, Kimberley-Clark silver coupons, $1.00 peelies that were out on boxes, and the save.ca coupons. There's a lot of different mailer UPC's out right now but I didn't even realize until I started trading with different SC'ers!!
