Correct, SOF wouldn't ley me use the coupon. I told them to adjust it down but they said they aren't allowed to with printable coupons....am going to try the Terra Nova SOF tomorrow.

In the end I went to Walmart and had them price match IGA. I wanted the sandwiches and the picture showed the cones so she said no, (urgh) but I whipped out my SOF flyer which showed the sandwiches, then she went and discussed with a couple CSMs and they allowed the price match. THEN I showed my coupon which led to another 5 minute discussion amongst the CSMs and finally (FINALLY) I got my free ice cream

Hi all...I tried to PM at Walmart Grandview and he wouldn't do it...cause it says "card price"... and he wasn't nice about it. Anyone having luck at Superstore Grandview or Buy Low Burnaby? Or anywhere?? Can we pm there and use the coupon? Would love to try these before they expire on Aug 15! Thank you!

I found one IGA that takes it and the other does not - check you're local store and see - if they don't grab a flyer on the way out and pm at RCSS or Walmart!

I don't think it has anything to do with the store policy....it comes down to the Cashier's Policy --- or COD (clerk of the day per Operabob) On friday I went to the SOF I usually go to and was refused the coupon as it was 1 cent over ..... today - same SOF - differenet cashier - no problem at all .... rang through the 4.99 - no question at all

Terra Nova SOF accepted my parent's coupon today, after the cashier checked with the supervisor.

I went through self checkout at Save on foods at ironwood and they accepted it no problems I did however see a cashier refuse the exact coupon while I was checking out, it really depends on the cashier!

Hmmmm sounds like there has been many issues, I read a previous thread regarding Superstore and how Superstore wouldn't accept them but I didn't hear the reason. I went to my local IGA twice and got a raincheque - I am not sure if they take printables as I hardly shop there but I guess I will find out. I then later took the SOF flyer to PriceSmart and they did it no problem, but I had to be assertive with the coupon - the second to last line clearly states that taxes are included in the face value of the coupon...so there is no reason to adjust down etc - she did it no problem, just wanted to make sure tax was actually charged... At SOF I went to customer service explained the coupon, the manager okay'ed it and then I went through the till and the cashier had no issues. I was able to get the ice cream but a lot of effort was completed in order to get them. I also did go to Walmart to PM but they were completely sold out! Just had a cookies n cream sandwich and it is awesome!
