I've been couponing now for 33 years, and it just keeps getting better & better thanks to websites like Smartcanucks that teach people how to shop smart and save money! Unfortunately Shopping 101 is not a mandatory course in High School - it should be. I heard someone say "Retail is for dummies" and I would agree. EVERYTHING goes on sale eventually if you can wait it out - and even cheaper if you have a coupon. I decided to post this because sometimes people just can't believe how you can get stuff for free - but it happens all the time if you are a smart shopper. My computer skills - not so good - here's hoping the attachment is below. Happy shopping!

Great score, just wondering, besides the 5 vendor coupons for $10 each, what were the other 3 bonus coupons that you used?

Hi, Coupon#13161 was a bonus 1500 points when you purchase any vitamins that was mailed to me thru RTO. The other 2 coupon #'s - I really have no idea because I didn't present any other coupons - must be something the computer prints for whatever reason. So regular points were 520 (based on $52 of purchases), product bonus points of 2500 plus the bonus coupon for 1500 points - total 4520 which probably computes to $6 reward (more if you save them) PLUS I received the mystery gift card and scratched off $15 reward. I guess you could say after I paid the tax, SDM paid me over $11 to take the vitamins away!

I got this same deal. going into the store i didn't know about the surprise gift card. i just happened to have 6 of those same coupons for $10 off with me. i saw they were on sale and decided to get them since i was there. i ended up spending $12.38 after tax for six boxes. my surprise gift card had $10 on it. the coupons at the bottom of the reciept were $12270, which gives you the little card with a chance to win 3,000,000 optium points, and the one #09370 gives you the surprise gift card. both of those were on my reciept too, and thats the order the cashier gave me those things, so my guess is thats what they are for. its probabally some sort of tracking so cashiers don't keep surprise gift cards for themselves or give them out to friends.
