can't wear headphones for too long - they hurt my ears.. unfortunately, the speaker on my laptop is crap.. some shows i can have the sound up to 100 and i still can't hear anything much.. the headphones bring the volume down to about 15.. damned if i do, damned if i don't.. story of my life :rolleyes:

have you tried the outside the ear headphones? If you have oddly-shaped inner ears, those can hurt. If you do the out of the year, it's not so bad

Have you try an external speaker (usb pluck in). I got this one couple of years ago for $3 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Xit-Audio-Mar...-/361147023637 this works really well. I can crank up the volume like a stereo system. Very good sound quality too.

You are right....I have never once asked for a response. Personally, when I am giving stuff to people, I don't expect anything back in return....not even a thank you. I guess it's just me and the way I have been raised to not expect anything from anyone, and that if you really want something, you get it yourself.

I could really use a nap. Our twins are teething and have sinus congestion, so I haven't been getting much sleep. All three of our young children were down for a nap, and I was asleep for 15minutes before someone called the house and woke up baby girl. I am in charge of a fundraiser and this person was supposed to pick up tickets from me at lunch time...but apparently 3pm in acceptable to them. :(

Didn't realize until it was too late that we spent $60+ at No Frills, and we had a PC Plus offer of 10k pts wus $50. Nope, we forgot to load and have it scanned at cash. UGH.
