They instructed her to add a note please leave on front porch not at gate and basically told her it was her fault for not giving clear instructions. Who would have thought they would drive down a trail find a hidden gate on a walk way no longer used and decide to throw the packages over the gate instead of coming to the front of houses.

oh my goodness! ha ha ha @SassyAshley That is ripe! Blame the customer, how dare she expect the parcel to be on her front porch?

Many many years ago ( I was green to delivering mail in very Country-ish areas ) I walk up a driveway, no mailbox anywhere, no box on the porch either.
Customer comes out and says mail gets dropped in the MILK box in the driveway... Wtf is a milk box? Apparently :hahaha: in the olden days people had fresh
milk delivered.
So for the next few houses I put their mail in those boxes. Found out 2 days later NOT everyone wants theirs in that milk box. Whatever?
Put a stupid sign up or nail the milk box shut if ya don't want it in there.

I have a gas pet peeve too from today but I'll put it in the rants section.
