That was a beautiful tribute to your sister in the paper today.

Thank you so much I'm not sure why they didn't have my husband's name there though They had called my Mom and Dad first to see if they would be able to answer some questions for them but it was too hard on them so Dad asked him to call me. I was glad that they also talked to her co-workers We didn't think it would be in the paper until next week so it surprised my mom this morning when she opened the paper and saw my sisters picture.

Something I found really funny even though it didn't seem it at the time was the online condolences where one of her students said that he really liked her because she didn't give him homework.

lol I missed that one!! I'll have to go take a look. That's true though she didn't give them a lot of homework

    This one?

“miss maclean was a great teacher, she was funny and was pretty slack, no homework. im gonna miss you”

I like the "pretty slack" part, lol....I think he considered her "slack" because she got down on their level and let them get away with stuff that other teachers may have not found funny but she always did We used to joke with her saying she let her kids get away with a lot and she was going to get in trouble for it, lol...

It was a beautiful write-up - I thought of you and your family often during the past few weeks.

Aww thanks we appreciate it We're just taking one day at a time so some days are good and others are bad. I know it also hit some of my friends hard since a lot of them only have one sister/brother and it scared them to think about not having him/her in their life. You always think you have tomorrow.
