Going from Shaw to MTS...shaw boxes?

I am moving next week and our new place is MTS only. I currently have 2 shaw boxes ( not the fancy PVR) and not sure what to do with them. Shaw doesn't want them.

They are still usable, and people are sometimes looking for them. We needed 1 for dd's room and were able to find one from my sister who wasn't using their extra one.

If they are not the newest Shaw boxes they are probably useless ~ that is the one thing I hate about Shaw, you buy their boxes and then they are paper weights if you switch companies

Not totally true - we were able to use the pre-PVR box in our DD's room so they she could have cable like her brothers have and we have upstairs. The only difference is that in DD's room she can't record shows, while in the boy's room they have a Shaw box that has a PVR and they can record programs.

We've had it for almost a year without any problems.

Update. Both sold on Kijiji very quickly and for $25 each.
