These were my reactions when I just saw this thread. Only b/c I was hunting down Lola's posts when she mentioned to me she was finishing up a Birthday train.....I thought to myself, oh how could I have missed Lola's birthday train, I must join it. (Lola's birthday is in September) And then I saw this incredible, wonderful, thoughtful thread and all of the wonderful riders / friends who have joined!! I was MIA most of August doing summer stuff with my girls and most recently (when this train got posted I'm assuming ) completely obsessing over my DD's upcoming birthday and party. Now that's all done and then I get all OCD on a facebook contest trying to win tix to take my girls to the fair complete with all day ride passes and no stress of the cost. Fast forward to finding this and I am (although it's rather hard to tell from this post) speechless.

Thank you all for being such good friends, and Lola... there are just no words as to how awesome you are. No matter what you're going through personally yourself you always seem to make time for your friends and family!!!

I just am happy I can be a small part of making your birthday special. You're always so sweet! And I couldn't have done it without the incredibily awesome, kind, generous SC'ers in this thread and platform riders too. You all make me remember what I love so much about SC.

Oh and for anyone who is interested, I finally finished my chalkboard. lol. I got the Martha Stewert paint at Michaels for $9.99 -40% =$6 x 2 containers. Then I bought trim at Home Depot for $3.80 x 2. Here's a pic of my finished product:
