I am going to be nosy and ask where your cottage is? my father-in-law has a cottage (which he has now retired to) just outside penetang near Saw Log Point beach, which we go up to almost every long weekend (year round) and a couple extra weekends in the summer/fall

BF has the duty, but if there's one and he's not around, I have a 4 inch wedge sandal in hot pink that I've allocated to the job! Think I'm sleeping with one eye open tonight.. Gracie's sitting at the bottom of the stairs as I type.. stalking... I'm fearing she may decide to gift me one in the middle of the night, in bed...

On the other notes, I'm not yet ready to mail. As mentioned, picked up a few items in the US on the weekend, but have a pretty full work week. I'm on 10 days holidays starting Saturday, so hoping to have everything done and mailed off by midweek... I have a feeling I'm gonna have a harder time finding a big enough box, than the actual items to go in it!

And I think I answered this KK7, but I have a normal old fashioned coffee maker, which I use like twice a month. Usually only flavoured coffee (I love the Van Houtte seasonal varieties...mmm Spiced Eggnog might be coming soon!) Not much for tea, but once in a blue moon I'll have a hot chocolate in winter, and I also love the After 8, or Rolo flavours.
mine are pretty speedy little buggers too, it took me ages to find the one that i 'lost' on my bed, ended up finding in on my pillow, ewwwwww! with 20+ tissues I cant feel it but I make sure it is good and smooshed before I lift it up again. hubby uses my shoes, probably on purpose...

Thx, never heard of that. I will have to try one day. We just find that ole Vaseline petroleum jelly works well.. And we lather her with Cetaphil Restoraderm Moisturizing lotion at least twice a day and use their moisturizing wash liquid in her baths. It's worked wonders, when she was younger it was so much worse, now it's just being managed and its been under control thus far. We hope she outgrows it.

I have absolutely no probs with second hand clothes. i get tons of hand me downs from my cousin for me as well as my son. i also garage sale for clothes for him as well as i go to the local second hand store. they grow out of them so fast.

i also know that shawshank has no issues with them either. she does the same thing that i do for her daughter!

Second hand clothes are ok here too as long as they are clean with no stains and in good shape.

I took the kids shopping yesterday I think I am almost done....waiting on one ebay item (should arrive Monday) then I will be ready to ship mine out. Lauryn has been enthusiastically helping me wrap gifts -so huge apologies buddy for the "creative" wrapping and the excessive tape on a few items!

    Yes to secondhand

I have all my item packed in a special box. Now I just need a big enough box to pack the box in, so it won't get damaged during shipping.

I used a Europe's Best box from there once--it was a good size without any holes. Also, you can get some sturdy boxes at the LCBO.
