I know catch up is going to be crazy on this thread. I am heading to the camper tonight and wont be back till sunday. It's going to take me a week to catch up.

Have a great time! We are heading up to the cottage tomorrow night & coming back Sunday night as well. My father-in-law has dial-up so its basically no internet access (their computer is also 10 yrs old, its painful). I forsee lots of catching up when I get back!

LOVE that idea! and kudos on the Value Village finds! I recently went into a childrens' place and found 4 pairs of pants for my 3 year old that rang in at only 1.99. SCORE!

Also stain remover is a necessity i think but i dont' think i've ever really used fabric softener. I'm sure that one could go either way.


Also an awesome find! PS those cars slippers you sent me in the last package train fit my little owen perfectly.....he likes to eat them hahah...while they're still on his feet

If you found the $10 on the street and had to buy something for your child(ren) (yes, my buddy is a mom) WHAT would you buy??
if i found it before my daughter sees it then i would probably buy her tinkerbell or strawberry shortcake something
if she found out i had it i wouldnt see it for long cause the first words outta her mouth would be "me money"...(shes two) and it would go to her piggy bank lol

my little one is the same (also 2). Everytime she sees money she always says 'thats my money!' I follow this up by saying 'money isnt a toy, you have money in your bank account' (RESP) lol Also when she gets a hold of my wallet she immediately takes out the credit card!??! I have no clue how she knows that equals money over health cards or business cards...

I get to the cash... and I have one of *those* cashiers..... You know... the type that HATES coupons.

How do I know this?!?!?

With every coupon she "huffed & puffed"... she even included a rolling of the eyes for my entertainment. It was quite the show. The man behind me noticed her performance too.

****SHOWTIME!!!****

So, when it was my turn to pay I started to count out my money... and I "huffed & puffed" with every bill, toonie, loonie, quarter, dime, nickel and penny.... I even looked up and rolled my eyes for her entertainment. Of course, I "accidentally" lost count a few times and had to start over......

She finally said "Is there a problem?"

I looked at her *stunned* and said “I thought you would be honoured…. imitation is the highest form of flattery.” **BIG SMILE**

The gentleman behind me laughed. A big belly laugh. The cashier said nothing.

I hope she is nicer to her next couponer!
