I used the Dollarama ones for my pregnancies. Though for the Dollarama ones I found they showed a "negative" if I was under 4 weeks pregnant (even if it had been confirmed by blood and drs), but if I was over 4 weeks, it would show a positive. Just have to go with it, As some of our levels are higher in the beginning, and others have lower levels (hcg)

Used these twice and accurate twice on the first day of missed period. Otherbrands just have fancy packaging and a HUGE markup. It's all the same science and really pretty simplistic. Doctors just get them in paper strip form (for much cheaper much like the dollarstore) and it's the same little strip with the tests at the dollarstore. There may be a few that have been designed to be slightly more sensitive to detecting the HCG hormone but nothing more then a few days. A bloodtest would give the earliest result.
Cheers,
Snip.

I think that if I wanted to be absolutely sure, I would just go to the doctor's office.
If I was trying to get pregnant, then I would buy some pregnancy tests, but probably not from the dollar store. I wouldn't buy condoms from the dollar store either. It seems like they would be cheap.
