Product Recalled	Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Cup Brewer Joint Recall with Jarden Consumer Solutions, Health Canada, and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) This recall involves the Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1 Single Cup Brewer made by Simatelex Manufactory Co. Ltd. The following brewer model numbers and UPC Codes are included in this recall. The model number is located on the bottom of product and box and the UPC code is located on bottom of box. Hazard Identified	A build-up of steam in the water reservoir can force the brewing chamber to open and expel hot coffee grounds and water, posing a burn hazard. The company has received 164 reports of the brewing chamber opening due to steam pressure, including approximately 2 reports in Canada and 59 reports in the United States of burn injuries. Health Canada has received no reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to these brewers.
Corrective Action	Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled brewers. Consumers will be given a replacement brewer after returning the plug of the KG1. For more information, consumers may visit firm's website or contact the firm toll-free anytime at 1-800-993-8609. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website.
Number Sold	Approximately 80,719 recalled brewers were sold in Canada and about 520,000 recalled brewers were sold in the United States.
Time Period Sold	The recalled products were sold from March 2011 to August 2012 in Canada and from September 2010 to August 2012 in the United States. Manufactured in China.

Don't have one of these, just wanted to say thank you Nat for posting these recalls and alerts. I used to subscribe for email alerts but found I never had time to read them. But when they're here I usually see them.
