I have used blogger and wordpress.... blogger is definitely easier and can be customized quite a bit. Wordpress is more complex but it can do more. They're both free to use. What are you wanting to accomplish with it?

Here are a few sites I've set up using blogger:

http://thousandhillsfarm.blogspot.com/ - this one is partly regular blog and partly fixed pages. It is also accessed by a regular domain - www.thousandhillsfarm.ca

http://lakelandhomelearners.blogspot.com/ - this one is just laid out like a blog for our homeschool group with a couple of other information pages

http://ruthieallenhamilton.blogspot.com/ - this is one I started up for a friend which she has since taken over, just a straight blog layout. She also has a domain - www.thisisthedayrejoice.com
