Problems stacking at Northgate LD

I haven't stacked at LD since March and decided to get some L'Oreal Hair Expertise and Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color Mousse. The cashier won't let me stack any of the coupons because the Garnier said "cannot be combined with any other special offer " and the L'oreal said"limit one coupon per purchase".
I'm not really current on their coupon policy, was the cashier correct?

I stacked at LD today and my coupons said "limit one per purchase." I had no problem. I had stacked L'Oreal Hair Expertise a couple months back. I think the cashier was wrong, as most coupons say "Limit one coupon per purchase."
As far as I'm aware the only wording that can't be stacked is "Cannot be combined with any other COUPON offer.
