if u have trouble with that. do the 'vanna wave' show them 'this' item is a purchase and then do the vanna wave around everything and say this is a transaction. 99/100x it works for me.

Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Receive a cheque, deposit it into your bank. That easy! https://legerweb.com/2Q7V3

purchase
n.a. The act or an instance of buying. (transaction)
b. Something bought. (item)
it depends on how one interprets the word. my understanding is b, but some think it's a.
i see different lines on coupons:
limit one coupon per item purchased.
limit one coupon per item per purchase.
limit one coupon per transaction.
limit one coupon per person.
if you have the time, talk to a manager and argue your case. if not, just do what they want. couponers are flexible.

I have a hard time with this too and I try to explain that it is one per item purchased, not one per transaction. If they are really fussy on it I tell them I am happy to do separate transactions. Usually they say they will allow it just once so they don't have to do all the extra work
I love the coupons that actually state, one per item. It makes life so much easier LOL

Recently, my local Wal-mart will only accept one coupon per transaction if it says one per purchase.
Numerous cashiers informed me that this is what THEY had been told to do by management. When I said I had no problem doing multiple transactions, they looked at me like I was crazy. A few actually refused to let me do more than one transaction for that purpose (there was no one behind me either...) Needless to say, I do more of my shopping at RCSS now, as mine price matches... And I never have problems with coupons there.

I try to carry around a sample coupon that says "one coupon per customer" and a coupon that says "one coupon per purchase" then I say I am making 5 purchases' and I have 5 coupons. This is probably the most frustrating thing that consistently happens to couponers.
