I took a little shopping trip to Walmart today with DH....picked up
6 Adidas Deodorant - PM Rexall - 2.00 = Free (made .06 Cents)
8 Advil Night time - 3.97 - 4.00 = FREE ( made .24 cents)
4 nivea creme - 1.00 - 2.00 = Free (made 4.00)
Purex Zout - 4.98 - 3.00 = 1.98
Gum - 3.27 - Or something like that....This is off the top of my head!
Anyway, the total Before coupons was 55.90 ....55.00 worth of coupons
OOP .95 (plus the taxes) Still under 9.00!!!!!!!

HOLY! It was awesome! This was the first time that I was able to save so much money and get so much for free!
I had NO problems with the cashier. I went to Customer Service so that I wouldn't cause a long line up....Oops.....the line up at CS just kept growing
The girl was shocked that she had to call a CSM because of the total value of coupons....she had never seen that before!!!!
Once again I have been told no more deodorant (by DH) but it started as his fault because he is the one that grabbed the Coupons for it LOL
What a great Day!!!!!!!!
I am so happy that I have found this site....and now understand the "proper" way to use coupons! Thank you to you all!!!!!!
Tell me I won't be bragging about this one at work tomorrow!!

That's one tremendous shopping trip! Isn't it great to get the hints here and then really make it work when you go to the store? Yippee!

Thanks everyone, and I DO mean THANK YOU!!!!! Without all of your tips and tricks, there is no way I would have been able to get so much for so little.
So as stated above, I did a little bragging today while I was at work......funny thing, nobody at ALL looked impressed! I had one lady tell me that coupons just aren't worth it! I couldn't believe my ears. And then she proceeded to tell me that just because you use a coupon, it doesn't make it cheaper, and her time is worth too much to spend the time needed to coupon clip....OMG!!!! Maybe she should give me her money LOL.
I just can't get over some people. I am just glad that I can come here.....and brag and people read it, and you get pleasant feedback! Instead of the crap that I was hearing today!!
Thanks again everyone!!!!!! Have a great day!

That IS awesome, don't let the haters bring you down! lol My hubby said to me he once figured out how much his time was worth to him, and he figured it was about $30/hr, so for him to clip coupons he would have to make that much to make it worth while. I understand that...but I dont think it means you shouldn't try. And my time is worth "less" (even though it's still precious I do have more time then him during the day) and I know I've made more then that on some shopping trips, coupon clipping time included! lol
